My grandfather telephoned me tonight and said I was posing problems that everyone knows about, and what is needed is solutions. What's your point, he asked.

What media doesn't tell us: there are houses and apartments enough for everyone, but the people who own them won't let others use them cheaply enough. I've seen multiple op-eds claiming conservation drove high housing prices. It shouldn't even have to be said, except that it is not said, that when it comes to affordability it's the inequality, stupid.
